Bobby Jindal is not a "nice guy" to me because he's a far-rightwing tool. That makes him not "nice." So any of the things that might signal "nice" would be strictly off limits -- things like him talking at all. Because that would cause me to start fingering my fork.

So, for me to choose him to be my date to save the world, he would have to be "hot". Not nice. Hot.

Is NOT HOT. Trust me. I'm a hetero woman. The above is not a hot guy. I cannot stare at that and successful tune out his droning talk -- especially with that accent of his.

Let me try to clarify:

I'm looking for a male rightwinger -- not just a Republican, but real hard-right, anti-everything, Party of No, teabagger type -- who is so hot that I -- a heterosexual woman -- can just sit back with my glass of wine during dinner and think about banging the living hell out of him while he talks or eats or does whatever the hell it is he's doing that I'm not paying attention to.

Now, mind you, I'm not promising the alien planet-hostage takers that I will bang this rightwing jackass. No, I'm only committing to dinner and maybe a movie.

But because I presume he has to survive the date for the planet to be saved, I need to be sufficiently distracted from... you know... him.

EDIT: Some random examples of "hot" according to Muravyets:

http://redvelvetgirls.typepad.com/.a/6a ... 970c-800wi

I have no idea of the politics of any of these guys. [edit]except George Clooney[/edit] If one of them is a rightwinger, then we may be able to save Earth.

One of them might not be a rightwinger but did play a recurring role on "24". Is that close enough?

I don't partake of men, but Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal seems like a nice guy.

Evidently, you are (1) a guy and (2) not gay, because you are not getting the concept here.

Bobby Jindal is not a "nice guy" to me because he's a far-rightwing tool. That makes him not "nice." So any of the things that might signal "nice" would be strictly off limits -- things like him talking at all. Because that would cause me to start fingering my fork.

The http://www.boycottliberalism.com/ list above had a few names I'd go for, all three of whom were quite hot when I was in HS, and two of whom seem to have aged well - India Allen and Gloria Estefan (the third was Mary Lou Retton).

3) Ann Coulter

Like Chuck Norris, Reagan was never hot.

I think Gary Cooper was a conservative, and he was hot -- although boring.

But then I don't know if Cooper was just a conservative -- you know, a real one -- or if he was one of these extreme rightwingers I despise so much -- like John Wayne. I have no problems at all with real conservatives. I get along with them quite well, so going out on a date with one would not be a sacrifice and would not fit the parameters of the topic. He would have to have been a proto-neocon to fit this game.

Now that I think of it, John Wayne might do the trick, provided it's this John Wayne:

and not this John Wayne:

Wayne was a real asshole about politics. It might be a sacrifice to go out to dinner with him, but if he was "Quiet Man" good-looking, I could at least stare at him and, if not fantasize about sex, at least wonder what his parents fed him to get him so big -- instead of listening to him talk.

A very good point. I could date Palin if she was drugged so I could draw a Hitler mustache on her and drag her to a small theatre replay of Farenhiet 911. The movie sucked but it would be great fun to make her watch it.

Is that a date?

I'm hitting the hay. I think what we've learned tonight is that it is far more difficult for a rightwinger to be sexy than a leftwinger (*thinks of George Clooney, Arch-Liberal, and melts slightly*). I believe this is because the extreme rightwing espouses a very negative and unfriendly worldview, and excessive negativity and unfriendliness make a person unattractive.

EDIT: We've also learned that, liberal though I am, I don't value the whole of humanity enough to date a guy I wouldn't want to bang. ;)

In my movie "Threesome" with myself, Josh Charles, and Lara Flynn Boyle, you can see my handsome ass, which is even more handsome now that I am an evangelical born against Christian. Just do me a favor and when you see the movie, ignore all the homoeroticism between me and Josh Charles, because I now live a Christ-centered life.

You can also see how sexy I am in my rodeo movie "8 Seconds" where I starred opposite Luke Perry. Its a wholesome family movie about excellence and perseverence. Just do me a favor and ignore all the homoeroticism between me and Luke, because I am now living for Christ.

If those don't convince you, see me in "The Usual Suspects", where my intensity and charisma exude sexuality, just ignore all the homoeroticism between me and Benicio Del Toro, because I now live in accordance with scripture.

If those examples are too serious for you, see me in the light hearted romp Bio-Dome, wherein I completely concealed my desire to do the lube-the-dude with Pauly Shore. Not because I was Christian back then, but because...I mean..its Pauly Shore.
For the teenagers on NSG who think that somebody logging off for an hour means that they "ragequit", please be aware that grownups sometimes have children, wives, businesses, houses, bass guitars, moderators to stalk, and other things to write. I'm really more of a moderate centrist, but apparently outside of the USA that makes me some kinda knuckle-dragging hick reactionary or whatever.

I guess I'd date Sarah Palin. She seems enough off the deep end then most others..

I'd let the aliens burn the world if they picked Michael Moore.

A1. Conservative to libertarian, depending on the issue. Republican for lack of a viable alternative.

A2. From the lib list linked above, and sticking to women who are at least somewhat close to my age, I'd bite the bullet and rendezvous with Jennifer Anniston. If age isn't an issue, I'd widen the field to Eliza Dushku or Jessica Biel. In each case, I liked the TV shows and some movies they were in, so we'd have something to talk about besides politics.

A3. Ellen Degeneris: (a) butt-ugly, (b) a voice that makes fingernails on a chalkboard sound like Fur Elise, (c) every TV show she's ever been on obnoxes me into knots, and (d) she's a degenerate. Armageddon time, children.

I believe this is because the extreme rightwing espouses a very negative and unfriendly worldview, and excessive negativity and unfriendliness make a person unattractive.

EDIT: We've also learned that, liberal though I am, I don't value the whole of humanity enough to date a guy I wouldn't want to bang. ;)

Hope you had a nice sleep. However, I think your logic is a little flawed. At least regarding the conservative women. I mean, if the topic had been "persons of your own political persuasion", I could have picked Katherine Harris (Florida Secretary of State, during the re-count fiasco), Laura Ingraham (radio talk show host), Ann Coulter (definately not a man). But I CAN be "bi-partisan".
