I'm taking 21 hours this semester, though four hours (two classes) are music ensembles that have no books, and two is a P.E. class that also has no books.

About $250 during my last semester, though most of my textbooks were anthropology paperbacks bought used online. Best thing about anthro and religious studies is that the traditional textbook dies after the basic courses and afterwards it is all market paperbacks and course readers.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, MGCCC, Its only a 2-year Community College though...I think the Jackson County campus has a Southern Miss branch though, presumably books can be rented there I think...

I think they can in South Alabama too...those are the only campuses I have any knowledge of though,
