Well, I can say that Tottenham Hale and West Green are enjoying the princely sum of a 19.3% and 25.4% increase of Burglary cases per 1000 population respectively, but the Met site is kinda shit and I am bad at London wards.

Some governments are smart enough to pay the police MORE before they start fucking the people over. Others however... :v

I actually just looked it up for myself and according to Met overall crime in Haringey was down 3.5% in the 12 months up to this June, compared against the previous 12 months. In fact gun crime was down from 141 cases to 88 (that'll be thanks to Operation Trident).

Single people, aged under 25: £53.45 a week
Single people aged 25 or over: £67.50 a week
Couples and civil partnerships (both aged 18 or over): £105.95 a week
Lone parents (aged under 18): £53.45 a week
Lone parents (aged 18 or over): £67.50 a week

Yes, it's literally the same for a single parent as it is for someone looking after their self. Economically poorer areas tend to have higher birthrates and more single parents. Imagine having to raise a child on the same amount of money the country expects a childless person to survive alone on.

That doesn't mean anything, as I don't see why an officer would shot another officer's radio. Maybe the criminal had a *surprise* police weapon or Metro style bullets!

Even if he didn't it doesn't matter. If you see an armed and dangerous criminal, you have the right to shoot if he does not give himself up. Nor does the rule out a gunfight.

Although they are poor smucks and rioting and attacking, they're certainly not all black (Tottenham is a very ethnically diverse area, even if it pretty much consists of minorities compared to the rest of whitey Britannia) and it definetly isn't a regular thing.

Say, the border between the U.S. and Mexico. If you've heard of the drug war going on in Juarez, well, I can vouch if anyone mentions the violence spilling over into the U.S. Sadly enough, crimes and murders committed by illegal immigrants "don't count" towards the numbers you see on television. Unsurprisingly, El Paso was at one point listed as one of the safest cities in America (when this was going on, and it still is).
