Don't Bogart that joint, my friend. I doubt it'll work, but peace is hard.

It's not any worse than some other plans. Let's get everyone together over brewskis.

Dude, I like the way you think. It could work, but I think something's missing.

I propose we change all national borders to reflect the state of things before the Roman Empire. Oh wait, that's fucking retarded.

I propose we go back to being hunter-and-gatherers in Africa, the Motherland!

I smell a troll....

Ah well...
The however-many state solution will never work, because they want the same crappy land. What amazes me that something really pointless like the Gates thing here in the states rouses so much controversy, while the Andrew Jackson approach of Israel to the Palestinians is completely ignored.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.- Carl Sagan

Kind of hard to be a non-religious Kahanist.
