He did wear the uniform for that reason. He came to the island, gathered the youth claiming to wanting to share information about the Oslo bombings, and then killed them, execution style.

He must've been using a fully automatic gun to get that many kills before they'd all fled. I thought automatic guns were extremely hard to get your hands on here unless you're in the army. He was not.

Norway has strict gun laws in regards to storage of a fire arm(must be stored in a safe attached to a building foundation), as a result it is nearly impossible to steal another civil firearm. However it is not so had to steal police and military weapons.

I'm not 100 % certain, but yes, I would think so as well. As far as I know, only the police/military are allowed to have full-automatic weapons. But as they say, where there's a will there's a way. Hard to get, but not impossible.
