Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.

Forum thread from June. Search for Behring.

The guy was a member of The Progress Party Youth. This may severely hurt The Progress Party, which is the second largest party in Norway, in the upcoming elections. The Progress Party is the main opponent of The Labor Party, which the attacks were directed at. Damn, shit's fucked up in Norway now.

Now if they can figure out just exactly why he set the bombs and started shooting the world can decide if politics just got real hideous or not.

It's pretty obvious he did it because of his beliefs, his hatred of the government. He didn't censor his Facebook page or Twitter account so he must've wanted to tell the public that's why he did it, also the targets taken into consideration. Maybe he did it because of his failure as a businessman, and blamed the left-wing government.

I'm not saying that there's any chance in hell that his actions were approved of or planned by anyone with power in the party, if that's what you think. I'm only saying say that this unknown guy had some affiliation with the party, and that the beliefs he championed are in line with The Progress Party.

Regardless, expressing views through violence is not acceptable. So is the MSNBC and Fox News jumping to conclusions as to who did it.

But we see now that the background is beginning to surface now that there is an arrest.

It does lend a certain irony to this statement, don't you think?

The Police: At least 80 people from the summer camp confirmed dead.

Holy fuck. Damn, I feel bad now about joking earlier in this thread when I thought the attacks were limited to 2-3 dead people. :( :( :(

Well, 13 to 25 year olds. Still, if he doesn't at least get life, we seriously need to change our justice system. Or, well... if he gets out of jail, his odds of living long are slim.

Got word from someone I know who was at the summer camp. That's a relief, at least.
