Holding 'em accountable for human errors.

That seems like a great idea and can't backfire at all.

Well, to be fair, the English installed it secretly first in the German goal back in 1966. And then the Germans claimed the tecnology as theirs.

Arguably it should only be used during game-deciding decisions if video footage is available.

What the hell is the point of having an official on the goal line if he's not going to make the call for a goal? FIFA need to stop living in the past and introduce goal-line cameras.

I'm fairly certain one of the Ukranian players was offside when he got played the ball during that attack, so yeah.

I was predicting that England and France would surprise throughout Euro 2012. After watching both games today I'm slowly regretting that.

Indeed. Though not that it matters in this match anyway, as England would have still topped the group even if the goal was official.

it was offside, so it wasn't a goal. Simple bro.

They're not fucking allowed to use video evidence while the match is going on. I've yet to hear of a ref who didn't admit his error after the match, after watching the video evidence. But they are prohibited by FIFA AND UEFA ALIKE to do so on the field.

Consequently, your idea is stupid, as it attacks the wrong person, the person who is legally disallowed from acting any different from the way they do right now.

Try to learn a little bit about the specific rulesets before engaging in tabloid-esque polemics.

That's true. Im just sick of seeing stupid decisions that could be easily rectified by goal-line technology. The French goal against Ireland in the 2010 world cup qualifier playoff is a prime example of this.

Again, not what I was saying but thanks for putting words in my mouth. People should have recourse. See the difference here? Don't you think fining a team for the actions of the fans is attacking the wrong person too? Its corruption and something needs to be done. Now, since you're obviously not willing to discuss anything in a civil way, goodbye.
