God forbid them only beating other teams by three goals.
God forbid.

Ya'know, the sad part is that I was defending the English team. What with having 11 injured players (A significant number staying at home, of course), and historically simply being average-ish, which, for some reason, causes their supposed fans to belittle and practically insult the team at every opportunity. As opposed to supporting the players who are still available and hoping for the best. Recognising that they're the single-most hit team in terms of injuries, but trying, and supporting the same, anyway.Disserbia wrote:Cromarty wrote:
Yeah I mean what kind of shit team only gets to the finals of the Euro? Plus they only got to the semi-finals of the World Cup before that, they should probably just stop trying to qualify in the first place if they're going to make that shitty a showing. What a goddamn embarrassment to their country and to football in general. But please, whatever you do, don't get me started on the shit storm that was the last world cup. God forbid them only beating other teams by three goals. :palm: God forbid.

Lord knows, apart from Rooney, it's one of the more likable teams at the EC (I did put them in the semifinal in my 'Wishful Thinking' list, after all). A pity the same can't be said for the trash called 'England Fans'.
The suggestion that this is pretty shit behaviour on the part of said fans clearly goes over the head of the same, though.

About the England fans...I agree that there are Englanders that follow the team who are no better than Neanderthal fucktards of the highest order. The vast majority of these fans are pretty much banned from travelling to Europe to 'watch' England. In the Germany World Cup the total number banned was around 3,000 with significant jail terms for those who broke the travel restriction. The majority of England fans are no worse or better than the Tartan Army of old.
Having said all that I would suggest that looking at your own house might not be a bad idea before castigating all England fans...its not like hooliganism is not uncommon in the Bundesliga.

As opposed to England who have, in the time since they won the World Cup, got to the semi-finals of both the European Championships and World Cup?Disserbia wrote:Yeah I mean what kind of shit team only gets to the finals of the Euro? Clearly that was my point. What a goddamn embarrassment to their country and to football in general.

And I was pointing out that Germany haven't exactly been 'successful' in the last 16 years.Nazis in Space wrote:Ya'know, the sad part is that I was defending the English team.

You mean like hundreds of thousands of fans do anyway? You notice how any stadium England play in is a near sell-out?As opposed to supporting the players who are still available and hoping for the best. I have no idea why you single out Rooney, but here we agree.Lord knows, apart from Rooney, it's one of the more likable teams at the EC

Indeed indeed. I wonder if Man U would be the juggernaut it is today were it not for his play in the 90s. What a man. It seems that just about every time I've seen him speaking he's been taking the piss with a perfectly straight face and serious tone. Wish more footballers were like him.
