I think I will be having words. Oh yes indeed.

I have similar problems here. Well, my team never won a cup in Europe (though they have won some matches). Worst thing is, for some reason ADO Den Haag is *in* the list. They ended up lower than my team this year. And Feyenoord is not in the list either. Feyenoord ffs. Also former cup winners.

Boycot.

Leeds are still in the Championship...so not in the EPL...but given I was offered the choice of -

Spurts - slightly annoying fans and a well dodgy club

Citeh - bought for success...shame. I respect the citeh fans who packed Main Road when they were in the lower division for those years...

Arsenal - If I hear Wenger say 'I didn't see the foul' again I'm gonna slap him upside the head.

Chelsea - Fa Cup 1971. Nuff said.

Dirty Mancs - well coz they are dirty Mancs

So what is a poor Leeds fan to do?

I was given the choice of Ajax, AZ, PSV, Twente and ADO Den Haag. None of those are my clubs, though I do like PSV a bit. But no NAC Breda => no me.

Clubs? You support more than one club? I can't do that.

Any way...is Den Haag less obscure (in Europe) than Breda?

I really am not impressed with this (the actions of UEFA that is).

I support three clubs; Tottenham (because I just always have), Stevenage (Because I live in this shithole) and Copenhagen (Because thats where I was born)

A bit weird, huh?

Den Haag is slightly more obscure, but I think they played last season while Breda didn't.

And I only support NAC Breda. Though I'm sympathetic of some others.

yeah I thought that was the case...I certainly recognize the name NAC Breda more than ADO Den Haag...

yeah sympathy for other teams....sure...like Southampton when Le Tiss played there. Actually now there is a great player....could have made huge big money moves to Spurs or Chelsea...and never did. Spent his entire time with the Saints. Total respect for that man...not withstanding his utterly incomprehensible goals.

Hey, NZ didn't lose any match on the last world cup. Not even Spain managed that.

If I recall correctly, they were even entertaining to watch. I seem to recall them playing a really exciting one against Italy.

Sweden actually has a pretty decent footballing history.

As does Denmark, come to think of it. Although Denmark's glory days kind of predate WWI...

Greece, well, yeah, that was kind of out of nowhere.

Not really. Ireland are 18th in the FIFA World Rankings, New Zealand are 130th.

They're in the tournament, that means they have a chance.

See: Greece, 2004. Denmark, 1992.

Tis true, but they don't play that (ugly but efficient )defensive football that Italians perfected and Greeks play so well. Nor are they hosts or underrated as the Danes were. But if they take a page from both this two they could surprise a few.
