Shame on Max Barry for scaring the UN

So Max Barry was previously using the UN LOGO...and got threatened by the UN with imminent millitary action (probably would have sent a french Commando in a blue cap to slap him around).

So the UN realized the UN Logo was unregistered and vulnerable and ran out and registered it in 2008?

So you could have registered the LOGO in 2002 and sued the UN for use of a registered Logo?

THey would have definatly sent a commando for that one. You can occupy a small island state and detonate nukes on it but the instant you touch an unregistered LOGO, its kill teams who speak french.

I think the fact that the UN's been suing the same logo since 1947 would give it a pretty compelling case. Most likely, the UN would buy you off, and get you to sell them the registration.

Meh, its the UN's logo, its internationally recognized as such by alot more people than those visiting nationstates...

I dont think the transition to WA caused enough of a stir, other than a few laughs, to really spark a need to fight it on the subject...
