True, but you'll certainly agree that racism is fading more and more every year I'm sure. Despite the rise in plots to kill the president, the fact that a black man had the majority in votes (in popular vote as well as electoral) over a white man means that at least that percentage doesn't take race into consideration. That's not to say that people who voted for McCain voted for him because he's white though. There are plenty of non-racists who voted for McCain, but I doubt any racists voted for Obama.
What about racists whom are black? Not all racists are white. Saying that is racist. not saying that you have said that. A racist is someone who makes fun of antoher beacuse of thier etenticity. They can just hate one not all of them. Remember not every racist person is white, or black, or of east asiain ethenticity or brown or Tamalion skinned. There are acctually alot, so basicly I'm saying racists can varry.
Racism among older blacks is kind of high (not a majority, but a noteworthy amount), and understandably (not rightfully) so. There's a difference between prejudice and racism too. I won't deny that some Americans are slightly more nervous sitting next to an Arab than a white person on a plane. That isn't fair of course, but some people do feel that way. That doesn't mean they hate Arabs, it means they have a pre-determined opinion of them. It would be nice if we got rid of prejudices too, but it's a lot harder to get rid of. Hell, people around the world are prejudiced toward Americans. It doesn't mean they hate Americans.
