I'm taking a pause from my classical holiday housecleaning - when dust clusters start purring and asking for meals, you know it's high time to clean home thoroughly.
It's 30 Celsius, 75% humidity, I'm sweating and swearing and hating the whole thing right now...
so, how do you do your chores? Does mommy do it for you? Do you pay someone for it? Or do you do it yourself?
What chore do you hate the most?

As for me, I really hate ironing. And I like cleaning the dishes - you get to play with water and soap after all.

I do the bathroom, which I enjoy cleaning, my husband does the dishes- which he claims I suck at and hate doing. We pick up the garbage. Otherwise, we just look at the mess and not do a damn thing about it. We do the absolute minimum for housecleaning. I don't remember the last time that I dusted....

folding/hanging up and putting away laundry.

also, picking up clutter.

I don't mind the part where you vacuum and wash the windows, I just hate putting all my crap away.

The bathroom. My bathroom does not have a window, and the vent/fan thingy does not provide adequate ventilation, so I'm constantly fighting a disgusting battle against mildew and mold. I've had words with my landlord about it, and he says he'll get in there to install a new fan in the next couple months. Until then, though, I hate my bathroom completely, and utterly loathe cleaning it.

Of your options i'd say washing the floor is the one i dislike the most, because it's strenuous on the back muscles. due to moving furniture around, and making sure the floor dries before someone steps on it or falls over.
I don't mind dishes but i'll draw the line at doing other people's work, they don't thank you for it (in most cases).
Although emptying the bins can be a traumatic experience, one day my flatmate was doing this and found maggots at the bottom of a bin. (which would not have happened had i not been away for two weeks holiday).
Most unpleasant.
So i usually play my ipod or some music device going while i'm working away.

Dusting. My Mom has this dainty shit everywhere and I gotta remove it, dust it, replace it, repeat and it eats time like crazy.

Be happy you even have a fan. My bathroom is a tiny useless piece of shit. The toilet moves slightly. The drains clog easily. The only plug in the bathroom has no grip and anything you plug in often becomes unplugged. I could go on.

I hate the fact that no matter how much or how little time you put into it, it is never, ever done. Ever. >_<

Especially when one has two kids, two cats, and two dogs and a hubby that is as much a kid at heart as the two one has, and when one has a penchant for wanting to enjoy life more than clean 24/7.

Speaking of which, I've a kitchen that currently needs attending, and laundry to be done. Again. Grr. Argh.

I always have to have a few shots of whiskey first, and then do the dishes.

Taking out the trash. Cannot handle the smell of kitchen garbage.

I hate the floor and the carpet. Its everywhere and its always dirty. The vaccum cleaner doesn't suck and the little kitchenette area is too small to practically mop with anything besides a wet towel.

There is a stain on the floor from a roomate's spilt winecooler thats probably just going to stay there forever.

Still, it's better than the mystery stain where the cat litter box is. Oh sure, I know what it is, I just prefer to live in denial.

I hate cleaning the bathroom, and taking out the garbage. I live at home with my mom(I'm 20 years old) and my little brother(he's 8 years old) and my mom acts like a fracking 16 year old! She does nothing around the house leaving it all for me to do. She has ONE chore, the dishes, and she rarely does it. *takes a deep breath* sorry about that I just needed to vent.

I hate the part where I have to stand up and move around.

call me weird, but i actually enjoy all of it, at least when there isn't something else that more immediately needs or wants doing. of course nothing is wonderful when it's all the time.

it is time though, that is the one thing, other then the endlessness of it. the time it takes away from doing other, possibly more interesting things. but it IS a price a pay willingly for the time i'm able to be by myself.

it is also a form of worship, and can, as i prefer to do and be, done in a state of meditation.

Housecleaning

Putting stuff away; folding laundry; changing the sheets; vacuuming and washing the floors; cleaning the bathrooms; washing the dishes; basically, everything.

At university a lot of the more annoying things are done for you, so that only really applies when I'm at home, such as now.

Cleaning bathrooms, ugh. I hate being on my knees cleaning shit out of a toilet.

I can get there anytime... when I'll actually start cleaning however...

I really detest scrubbing the tub. It kills my back, I inhale all sorts of toxic chemicals, and by the end I've got sweat dripping down my face.

Someone else does most of it. I do my own laundry, which isn't that bothersome. I think I would dislike cleaning the bathroom, and I never liked doing the dishes when I had to do them.
