My parents are considerably more agnostic than I am.

My mom is a practising Roman Catholic, and my dad considers himself to be an Anglican (his part of the family are Anglicans) although he was never really that big into church and hasn't been in years.

In my childhood (as I assume most people do) I was indoctrinated into the religion of my parents and peers, Roman Catholicism. Ironically it was when I went to my former Jesuit high school where I started to begin to question these views. Long story short, much to the chagrin of my mother and extended family, I am now an agnostic deist, and could care less about Christianity.

My parents are atheists who are part of the evangelical lutheran church just to prevent my grandparents from going mad. I, on the other hand, am an antitheist.

Poll fail for the lack of the "Yes, I'm atheist as my parents" option. Not everyone's got theist parents, you know. (The presence of a "no, I'm atheist" option implies that you assume parents are theists).

Does it? I would have thought that if you and your parents are atheists then you have the same religious beliefs. i.e. none.
We in Gravonia have set our sights very low, so low in fact that even glory will have in it an echo of failure.

My mother's an atheist and my dad was raised Jehovah's Witness but he seems to be rather apathetic about it now.

I'm an atheist.

Mine never discussed religion with me and showed no signs of any particular religious views. Their complete indifference to religion is mirrored by my own complete indifference to religion. Scientific evidence seems to suggest that a tendency towards religion may be genetic. Given that nobody in my family has ever showed any real signs of religious interest, I suspect I simply lack this trait.

My political/Economic beliefs are rather complex but if i would have to label elements of it, i would say its a mix between Syndicalism, Market socialism, communism, nihilism and a Technocracyism.
I only agree with particular aspects of each one thus i am going to call it Hughism, becuase thats my name and its my own personal beliefs.

I'd say I am, yeah, but less religious in general. It's very, very worth it to just go with the flow so that family events are happier. If we're going to go to church while I'm visiting, well then I'll go along and we'll all be happier for it. No reason to introduce stress when it isn't necessary.

What I've never understood is the conversion from your parents' faith to another. Losing faith entirely or partially I get, but consciously trading up one for another doesn't make sense to me when it can introduce tensions between family. I guess people can swing it if, when together, they just avoid religion entirely, but all the same I can't imagine ever choosing a different religion than my parents for any reason. Unless they are dead or something...

My mother believes in god, but not organised religion. She would, however, call herself Christian (Church of Scotland) if asked.

My father is an unreserved nihilist.

I, personally, am a sceptic, and ergo an agnostic holder of the tenant ei qui affirmat, non ei qui negat, incumbit probatio. I was raised Christian however.

Capitalism is always the answer. Whenever there's a problem in capitalism, you just need some more capitalism. If the solution isn't capitalism, then it's not really a problem. If your capitalism gets damaged, you just need to throw some capitalism on it and get on with your life.

Not entirely. I used to be a christian like my parents, but I've taken a more atheist standpoint later on in my life. I've grown more apart from my parents since the last few years.
