Because they are socialist. None of them are classless, stateless or have removed wage labour. There are no communist nations in the world.

Hemoglobin is the principal determinant of the color of blood in vertebrates. Each molecule has four heme groups, and their interaction with various molecules alters the exact color. In vertebrates and other hemoglobin-using creatures, arterial blood and capillary blood are bright red, as oxygen imparts a strong red color to the heme group. Deoxygenated blood is a darker shade of red; this is present in veins, and can be seen during blood donation and when venous blood samples are taken.
The tongue map or taste map is a common misconception that different sections of the tongue are exclusively responsible for different basic tastes. It is illustrated with a schematic map of the tongue, with certain parts of the tongue labeled for each taste. Although widely taught in public schools, this was scientifically disproven by later research; all taste sensations come from all regions of the tongue.

Essentially they tried to make it seem more violent and dictatorial than it was. How typical of a textbook.
Also, my science books in Elementary said two stupid things:
1. That blood was blue until it picked up oxygen.
2. That the tongue was divided in to sections of tastes or whatever nonsense it was.
