Well, I'm not sure I fully understand this part but your arguments suggest that you prefer a socialist state which with your idea is just hard to implement in the RL world. (Unless you're a communist state). Still, you do realize that economic growth directly influence and affect the welfare of both the individuals and state? Better economies provides the foundation to a better welfare.

Yes, but sometimes. I still prefer the free market though.

So, if I understand you right, the farmers own the factory? If so, I am very for it. We got a company like that here in Norway, a milk company called "Tine".

Profits belong the all the workers in a business, not just the manager.
If your place of work does well, you do well. If it doesn't do well then you have only your wages. Hence you are incentivised to work.
