Or beer for that matter. Many beers taste best at around 10-15 C because other flavours emerge. You want to serve shitty beer as cold as possible because then you aren't able to tell how incredibly shitty it really tastes.
I doubt that at all. Warm beer would make them taste worse. Any beer is better cold.
You doubt because apparently you drink crappy beer.
Generally lighter coloured beers are best at lower temperature, but if it's a beer you actually want to taste (aka that isn't garbage) you want it at a temperature of at least 4 C. I've bought some very nice beers with labels that instruct you to serve them at 10 C.
