Or beer for that matter. Many beers taste best at around 10-15 C because other flavours emerge. You want to serve shitty beer as cold as possible because then you aren't able to tell how incredibly shitty it really tastes.

I doubt that at all. Warm beer would make them taste worse. Any beer is better cold.

You doubt because apparently you drink crappy beer.

Generally lighter coloured beers are best at lower temperature, but if it's a beer you actually want to taste (aka that isn't garbage) you want it at a temperature of at least 4 C. I've bought some very nice beers with labels that instruct you to serve them at 10 C.

I don't drink much in general and if I do drink I prefer vodka or rum over anything. I wouldn't serve those beers warm at all even if it says so since cold is better.

If you've had ale served properly (10 C) serving it colder just seems like a waste of good ale.

Obvious advantages of the square variety is that they won't roll away when you put them down, while many claim that the rounded variety are more environmentally friendly.

Personally, I find the square type slightly more ergonomic, and I'm a fan of putting my chops flat-side down over the top of my bowl.

Square or circle are both fine: mine at home tend to be circle, the cheap ones out tend to be square.

If you want a cold, refreshing drink, drink some water. If you want some delicious beer, serve it at the proper temperature for the relevant beer.

Or drink beer from a US macrobrew since it's practically water anyway. Except that it's water that tastes slightly like what I imagine piss does.

It wasn't a real answer so it means Chopsticks don't make Asian food taste better.

Source?

Seriously though -- for some things metal can impart a slight taste. I prefer eating Asian food with chopsticks.

Go on. Eat your spaghetti on a banana leaf.

Eating using the hands sounds easy, but when I was a kid, the elders back in the rural hometown of my mother chided me that I don't know how to eat with my hands. Apparently there is a proper way to do it.

Yeah. DO NOT eat with the left hand. That's the hand you're supposed to be dealing with the toilet duties with.

The frosted glass doesn't make it taste better. It just keeps it super chilled and it goes down smoother. So no chopsticks don't make food taste better.

How does beer taste from an aluminum can?

Aluminum cans make it warmer and thus not as smooth. ;)

Any warmth would make a beer taste like shit since humans prefer chilled drinks in general instead of drinking them warm. (doesn't apply to coffee or tea)

Please stop applying your opinion to everyone else. There are plenty of places where beer is served at room temperature and people prefer it that way. The UK are some nations I can think of off the bat.

Funny, I thought it was the metal taste that affected it, and the glass is non-reactive.
Beer from plastic would taste crappy too.

You definitely don't have to source it for me.

The idea of drinking beer out of a plastic container is pretty scary though.

Personally, I like square chopsticks because they :

a) are easier to handle and grasp food
b) don't roll off the bowl or the table

But then, most of the expensive Asian resturaunts use circular chopsticks (as do my grandparents). Perhaps traditional style is better than pratical style.

Coke from a glass bottle tastes different because they use real sugar in the glass version instead of high fructose corn syrup. :eyebrow:

Pepsi is selling Mountain Dew Throwback right now. It tastes a lot better because it also uses real sugar.

Three-dimensional shapes with 12 faces, so yeah, kind of like a 12-sided ball.

A dodecagonal-prism would be doable for chopsticks. Probably very comfortable to hold too.
