I'm pretty sure Jesus and Yahweh have a dysfunctional relationship, with Jesus being some kind of rebellious teenager who is into new ager shit like pacifism and peace, weed, and saying "maaaan" with the V-fingers. Yahweh is a crotchety old fart who enjoys blood sports and talking about 'back in my day we would've stoned half the people you talk to' or sommat.

Actually, God and Jesus are the same person... and actually, a quick study of both Testaments in the Bible reveals a consistent pattern of mercy and punishment.

Actually, Jesus repeatedly referred to the father being greater than him, being sent by his father, etc. He also once prayed to his father and his father sent him an angel to strengthen him for his trials.
Thus, if Jesus IS God, that would make God a schizophrenic with the ability to be in two places at once.
Which is really scary shit, btw. Imagine if you met a schizophrenic that could actually be in two places at once.

Actually, in the Bible it's something like this:
God > Jesus & God = Jesus.
It's puzzling to me too, and I grew up and still go to church regularly.
