Howd you find NS?

Simple question thats not to difficult to answer, How did you come across NS?
Me, well I travelled to America to visit some family who had moved there years earlier, and while there My cousin had been playing this game. It looked interesting and I created a nation and saw what you could do then created a new one and thus Chyeknovostan was born. So yeah. When we came back to Lviv, I continued to play it.

Found it while looking for a nation simulation game, made an account, forgot about it.

Friend showed it to me, remembered it, made a new account.

I was requested to join by loathsome cretins at school with whom I reluctantly agreed mutal toleration due to weakmindedness and the absence of suitable alternative associates. They raided. I informed the regions they were invading what was happening so all the raids failed. They left. I looked at the forums. They were shit. I posted a few times. I left. I came back a few years later with a new nation. The forums were still shit. I had nothing else on, so I posted a few times. It became habit. I often wish I had instead taken up a less self-destructive and distasteful hobby such as child molestation.

Via the "Nations" application on Facebook. Someone had an equivalent nation here, so I decided to make a NS equivalent of my nation on Facebook.

Friends on an offsite forum were playing it, I got into it, half the forum got into it. They make up our region.

I was looking up online games in which you can create your own nations and this website was the first that popped up. That was back in either February or March of 2010 but I got busy and left NS at around October that same year and my original nation was deleted for inactivity and when I came back in May of this year I tried to revive my old nation but I forgot my password and I didn't have an email account associated with it so it is forever lost which is a shame since I worked hard on it. So long story short I created this nation a little over 2 weeks ago.

there was a small review of a game called 'nationstates' in a belgian magazine... somewhere in februari 2003...

I used to play RuneScape (shamed) and a buddy told me about NS. I was asking for a game more along the lines of SimCity 4, not a forum-based website, but NS is still awesome.

He stopped playing and became inactive long ago, probably around the time I joined this site, but I'm pretty satisfied that he showed me NS.
