Pharmaceutical Industry is keeping us addicted to a lie!

Postby Eternal Mysteries » Tue Aug 11, 2009 3:03 am

It is also very important to be informed about the Codex Alimentarius. The Codex Alimentarius Commission was created in 1963 to develop food standards and guidelines under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme. The main purposes of this Programme are protecting health of the consumers and ensuring fair trade practices in the food trade, and promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations. In the early 1990s, Codex began to look at establishing internationally harmonized standards for food supplements. But it appears that the strongest effect of this Directive will be to cut off availability of all vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and most other essential nutrients by re-classifying them as pharmaceutical drugs, eventually available by prescription only and manufactured by pharmaceutical companies from synthetic materials, including genetically engineered substances. People who consider Codex Alimentarius as benevolent consumer protection or as harmless to their health freedom are seriously mistaken. It has nothing to do with consumer protection. It has everything to do with the economic ambitions of multi-national corporations, in particular the pharmaceutical industry.

"If Codex Alimentarius has its way, then herbs, vitamins, minerals, homeopathic remedies, amino acids and other natural remedies you have taken for granted most of your life will be gone. The name of the game for Codex Alimentarius is to shift all remedies into the prescription category so they can be controlled exclusively by the medical monopoly of the major pharmaceutical firms." -John Hammell, founder of International Advocates for Health Freedom.

The Codex is targeted to go into full global effect by January 1st 2010.

"There will be in the next generation or so a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them but will rather enjoy it through brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods." -Aldous Huxley

I have it on good authority from Old Glory Insurance that it's actually a plot by the robots who are everywhere lately, because they use old people's medicine for fuel.

Um, LG was that an anti-psychotic or a hallucinogen?

Codex Alimentarius sounds like the subject of a Dan Brown novel,

...or a Barringtonia novel! Ha, I will make millions!

I need an unsure but brave hero, a beautiful but suspect female reporter, a benevolent friend who turns out to be the mastermind and an idiot who kills people for the wrong reasons,

Well... alot of the medicinal plants people use grows in abundance in the wild... You can get atropine, hyoscyamine and other chemicals from Jimsonweed and that stuff grows absolutely everywhere around here.

I don't see how they would manage to monopolize something that prolific unless they drench the nation in agent orange or something.

They're patenting the ingredients, there's an issue in China of western pharmaceutical going in, breaking down traditional medicine and then patenting the molecular make up,

Not that the Chinese are too bothered, Pfizer found that out with Viagra in return,

Y'all are missing the point. He who controls the pharmaceuticals, controls our destiny. Because without the pharmaceuticals, there is no commerce in the empire, no civilization. So the one fixed point of Imperial policy, is that the pharmaceuticals must flow.

Thanks. It seemed kind of familiar.

I find it quaint, in retrospect. A biochemical (a drug) which cannot be synthesised.

At first I thought this was real. Then I thought it was crazy conspiracy theorist craziness. Then I saw the author of "Brave New World" quoted, and now I am impressed with the irony.

Thanks for that. Yeah, dietary supplements should meet at least the standards of food, if not of medicine.

FDA banned Ephedra. The bastards. Ephedrine is good shit!

The story is busted already. See the link four posts up from here.

I actually don't have a problem with homeopathic medicine. I firmly believe it is a placebo, but if people want to spend their money on water and it does them good ... why not?
