Good, time to deport all americans without roots to the native americans.

Edit: I'dd have mixed feelings about it, in all fairness. but that might be because people yell "They took our Jobs!" far to much. (spelling?)

Nice appeal to emotion.

It's more an appeal to history. It is what's written above America's doorway after all

So if a natural-born citizen is minding his own business, the police can walk up to him and ask for his papers, and arrest him if he doesn't have them on hand? We're supposed to just carry around our birth certificate wherever we go? :palm:

Oh, God forbid the US should enforce its immigration laws. Like Mexico does against other Latin American countries, because they don't want them coming to Mexico, or worse yet, coming to the US where they will take jobs away from Mexican illegals.

This law doesn't do shit about that...

It just allows cops to search anyone that is a suspected "illegal" (read: all hispanics).

It could just as easily be applied to speakers of languages other than English. I sure as hell don't want Canadians crossing the borders illegally, either. I'd learn a sentence or two in French to catch them, if they'd be deported.

I doubt most people in the South are looking out for Canadian illegal immigrants.

Of course. All True Americans™ do already, along with videos of their birth with notable American landmarks in shot, and pictures of them celebrating every 4th of July since that birth.

And here was I thinking that it was just the rest of us that stereotyped Americans as incapable of learning more than one language.

Does Alabama even have a bad immigration problem?... This is just more political posturing; trying to appear to crackdown on illegal immigration. All this will do is cost taxpayers money, and waste the state's judicial system's time.

1. There are a number of 'White' Mexicans

2. There are a number of legal Mexican Immigrants

3. That's racial profiling, which is not kosher.
