Depends what you mean by "believe in."

We acknowledge his existence... not as the son of God, though. The immaculate conception is a Christian belief--an extremely skewed belief, actually.

Hinduism has gods, which I do not believe exist. In Buddhism you have to have good karma to be reborn into good stuff, otherwise you are reborn into a demon or a ghost or stuff like that.

Eh, no... You don't really know anything about Buddhism do you?

First of all; you can't, in the technical sense, be reborn into something good. The reincarnation itself, whatever you are reincarnated as, is bad. As long as you live (are reincarnated), you are part of Saṃsāra, which is basically a cycle of eternal suffering. Usually, whatever you are reincarnated as is helping you on your way to Nirvana.

Second of all; karma generally has very little to do with what you are reincarnated as, and what really determines if you're going to get reincarnated (continue your suffering) or not (reach enlightenment/self-awakening), is whether or not you've been following the teachings of the Noble Eightfold Path (last step of the Four Noble Truths), which is more or less a guide on how to reach Nirvana.

There is, if you take the agnostics to be atheists. In my experience, most people who describe themselves as agnostic when asked their religion could more accurately be called atheists.

Being serious, I'm a deist.

Well about 50% of the time.
we, unlike the bourgeoisie, have nothing to lose and therefore our expression will be the only honest one, our words will be the only challenging ones and our art will be the one revolutionary expression. We need new noise and new voices and new canvases to become something more than the last poets of a useless generation.

1. That site makes a lot of rather dubious claims.

2. When are pseudosciences going to stop boring terms from real science and using said borrowed terms incorrectly? "Energy" and "quantum" seem to be their favorite terms to abuse.

Just say if you are Atheist, and why? Also if your Theist please say so and why, also if you would not mind listing your religion it would be great.

I opened this thread out of plain curiosity, personally I am a Theist, who worships the Greek goddess Hecate.

Atheist. Why? Pretty much just because. Believing in something for which there is no falsifiable evidence just seems silly to me.

Read the NT from the Bible (and no I am not trying to convert you I respect you as an atheist). But don't look at it from a religious meaning look at it as a historic piece of literature.

So don't look at it as what it is, look at it as what it isn't?
