Atheist. Mostly because I find it hard to believe a snake with arms and legs(a lizard) tricked people into eating fruit which somehow made them smart, and they thought "well huh! We're naked! maybe we should wear clothes etc etc." Causing god to be angry, thus kicking them out of paradise and removing the snakes legs or something. I also find it hard to believe one man could gather up all the animals in the world, including ones that are on a landmass not discovered yet(the Americas.) I do believe Jesus is real. He was a real person. This has been proven. I do not believe he is the son of god though. And I do believe in something after death, that we more or less get reborn into a new person, but do not remember anything that happened in our previous lives at all.

Hinduism has gods, which I do not believe exist. In Buddhism you have to have good karma to be reborn into good stuff, otherwise you are reborn into a demon or a ghost or stuff like that. I believe EVERYONE gets reborn. No matter what they were like or who they were in their past life, it does not effect anything. It just happens.

Religion is outdated. Its only value to society is to help people have a reason to be kind to others, but it even fails at that - I could rant about homophobia, sexism, etc, but I assume you all know the aguments I'd present.
I just don't see the point in worshipping the unproven, when I can spend my time being more productive for humanity.

Catholic follow good morals without help from the book and I do not think you can prove a valid point there with the rest of your statement.

The story of Adam and Eve is a story from the OT that wasn't meant to be taken in a literal account. Yet more of an exaggerated expression on how we (as humans) got Origional Sin.
Noah's Ark that could be. After all, they did find the ark on some hill in Turkey or some place like that.

Its as if they deny the complete and utter lack of evidence of a worldwide flood. And when they deny the Garden of Eden as a simple story, but still claim the Ark to be real? Stupendous, really.

I believe it is as well, but it is also taken literally at times. And why, when you claim the Garden to be mythology, do you support Ark claims? Science has declared it utterly impossible.

I do not believe in heaven or hell.
I do not believe jesus is our lord, savior, or the son of god.
I do not believe in karma.
I do not believe in most of the basic ideas of most religions.

No. That's why we do research. You can't do research in theology, as everything is already explained. That's no fun.

Science doesn't always explain everything.

But it does explain that no worldwide flood ever took place, in the history of humanity or earth in general.
