Funny, because I can say the same thing about your beliefs. But no, one can never get tired of math.

After doing it for twelve years, I am damn tired of it.

And who said I live in a turtle shell because I believe in a supreme being?

You clearly need a supreme being to dictate you.

That does not mean I live in a turtle shell. It means I let something else worry about what is right and wrong, and I do whatever the fuck I please. Just because I believe in a supreme being doesn't mean I personally adhere to any morals or ethics.

Catholic-Christian.

I tried Atheism, it made me feel empty and more alone than ever before. An example of a Catholic saying- "God be with you, and with me." Something about it sounds like, "May the Force be with you."!

Heh, I was a Catholic de-converted into an atheist because I didn't like being dictated by someone or something I can't even see.

I respect your point, anyone +2020 years old or so to of even seen the birth of Christ? Maybe some of the guys at work might be, lol.

There's a collective love I feel being privately Catholic, I need that support. My Dental Assisting friend who knew I was studying her field at the time is a mother who let me study at her house and have dinner with her family is Catholic, and active enough to go church, and has a wonderfully great personality, I'd marry her if she wasn't already and if I had a career already as well. Not many women are like her anymore due to so many problems in the US.

And thus why you shouldn't interject on a conversation without knowing the story behind what the other guy said.

Just out of curiosity though, what is your career if it involves math?

That is fake love however. You're not actually being loved by anyone, because the love is forced. It's like being an ant and the priest is the colony's queen. It's just not right for me.

Have fun with that. Eventually you will realize that I don't look at reality the same way most people do, and maybe then will learn how to debate with me.

Could happen. And I could type all my posts in reverse order, and people could learn to debate with me.

Or maybe they'd just give it up as a bad deal, and figure they could spend their time more productively.

"I don't want to learn anything and therefore I won't change" is an incredibly inept way for a believe system and an ignorance fallacy.

Actually, it is more like "I will learn whatever, except more damn math, but be damned if I will change unless forced to". I never claimed that I am above failure. After all, I am but a human.

Maybe if this was a unique experience; but you could say that about pretty much everything. I doubt it would have caused such a stir with the doctor (Dr. Robert Spetzler) if that was the case, especially considering she outlined precisely what he and the other surgeons were doing in a 'pioneering surgical procedure' including minor details that would have been otherwise forgotten.

Here's a documentary (er, interview): http://wn.com/standstill_operation

Do you know what a Christian is?

A Christian is someone who recognizes the divinity of the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, which we should embrace not because Jesus is the supposed son of god (he can't be, since there is no god) but because we know deep within ourselves that those teachings are true and the best way to live among others. We revere Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, because he was the originator of the tradition in which we came to know those teachings. Those who have come to those teachings through other traditions should rightly revere the respective founders of those traditions for the same reason.

There is another group of people, the cult of Jesus and Jehovah, who fail to see the truth of the divinity of Jesus's teachings and so felt compelled to invent the myth of the divinity of Jesus's person. Those people are responsible for the fabrications, falsifications, and corruptions such as the miracles, the resurrection, virgin birth, etc. that one finds in the New Testament, as well as the establishment of the communities known as the Churches.

WOW! An interesting interpretation.....and also wrong in many parts. You forgot the giant 'KICK ME' note on the back of every 'true' christian.

Funny, those are the same things that justify my morals, and I believe in God.

The "fellowship of man" and "goodwill towards all" are the wisdom that God gave us, and we are to act accordingly. Specific laws and rules are generally cultural dressings.

That's how I see it, anyway. Belief in the existence of God does not preclude individual thought and responsibility, but rather, requires it.
