I'm an atheist because it is perfectly rational and logical to be so.

You find it logical that life spontaneously formed?

At one point, there was no life. At some later point, there was. Something happened in between to bring about life. As I see it, the idea of the chemicals involved in life being present together and reacting(as chemicals so often do) in order to bring about very simple lifeforms makes perfect sense. The idea of some kind of supreme being crafting lifeforms through nothing more than divine willpower? Any logic there escapes me.

I was taught to be a Catholic for the first 12 years of my life, and I was never taught anything about Revelation being a coded message, and I was taught that there would be an end to the world.
