I can certainly see how Zionism could be considered racist, yet for some reason that's considered unacceptable to say. So you basically haven't compared it to places like China, Zimbabwe, Russia, or anywhere else. I'm not going to deny that there is racism in America but the claim that it is worse in the US than in other places is going to require evidence that there's nothing comparable or worse happening elsewhere. Which is bullshit. People from the Caucasus are regularly discriminated against quite openly in Russia. China maintains a very strict dominance of Han Chinese over everyone else. Zimbabwe disowns farmers solely because they're white. None of these places have institutions that redress such acts even remotely comparable to the ACLU or the NAACP.

But we've been dealing with it for fifty years now. More, really but that's when we really kicked into high gear. And we ARE dealing with it, at the glacial pace that ALL social change requires.
Compare this to, say, Japan. If you're not Japanese, you're shit. And Japan isn't really doing anything about that.

Yes, but they are a VERY small minority.
On the other hand, a person from east of the Urals has roughly the same chance of being elected - and they are a very large minority.

Given the prevalence of Arab states in the conference, showing up won't change that. Not showing up will prevent the conference from gaining the legitimacy it craves.
