The Jews received Israel as compensation for the acts of the Nazis. If it was on me, it was probably better that the Germans gave some compensation land to the Jews after WWII. Now, we took the land of another and gave it to another party.

Actually, I have no particular problem with the Arabs doing what they did. Britain had the right, as controller of the Mandate, to do what they did (and it wasn't "Israel as compensation for the acts of the Nazis", by the way - it was an atempt to STOP the ongoing civil war in Palestine that the British forces had so far not been able to get a handle on. And which was fought, on both sides, by both long-term residents and recent arrivals). The Arab states had the right to try and "rectify" the situation as they saw fit. But the fact remains - they were the ones who chose war, and lost, and lost land because of it. And I have no problem with that.

But do you honestly not remember Obama attending that one "international racism summit" and leaving, saying something along the lines of "They weren't there to talk about racism in the world, they were there to accuse America of racism." or something like that? I don't know if it was Durban I or II, but that is distinct in my memory. Whatever. Punish was the wrong word anyway, but international summits (especially those notorious climate summits) typically target America.
