The Rhineland is still German. Anyway, we received German territory as compensation for their deeds in WWII.

No, but France had conquered Alsace and Lorraine (with our help) by the end of the war, and they kept that.

In general history you don't have to work much, you pass the SOL even if all you did was listen to the lecture, and you might remember a thing or two.

In AP you work your ass off, you ace the SOL, you'll remember a fuck-a-ton, and you might get college credit if you do well on the AP test.

Yes, and you can take the AP tests which count as college credit depending on your score.

Hmmm, on the one hand, if the conference is truly anti-semitic, which I could easily see, then I'd say the US is right to boycott, but on the other, if the US and Israel's claims to anti-semitism uses their traditional definition of "anything vaguely critical of Israel", which I can also easily see, then I'd say they are firmly in the wrong.

Tough call there.

This strikes me as a publicity stunt, more than a principled stand. US policy is simply "Israel can do no wrong," it seems.
