The Rhineland is still German. Anyway, we received German territory as compensation for their deeds in WWII.
We didn't conquer German land violently.

Actually, you received German lands after World War One, specifically Alsace and Lorraine. Which the Germans took off France in the Franco-Prussian War. Both departements (did I spell that right?) have a mixed French/German speaking population.

No, but France had conquered Alsace and Lorraine (with our help) by the end of the war, and they kept that.

It's a little easier when you only have to consider the action of ONE government. It's when governments interact that things get...interesting.

AP=Adavanced Placement

It's the equivalent of a college course while you're in high school.
General would be a regular class.

Ah, so you'd go for AP versions of subjects to improve your chances of getting into University?

In general history you don't have to work much, you pass the SOL even if all you did was listen to the lecture, and you might remember a thing or two.

In AP you work your ass off, you ace the SOL, you'll remember a fuck-a-ton, and you might get college credit if you do well on the AP test.

Yes, and you can take the AP tests which count as college credit depending on your score.

Tough call there.

This strikes me as a publicity stunt, more than a principled stand. US policy is simply "Israel can do no wrong," it seems.

But that is a fatuous answer, for those who are satisfied to mind their own business do not aspire to become authorities." ~ Thomas Szasz
