It seems to me she's trying very hard to be offended and the ad is clearly referencing her diva reputation

You missed the point. The very fact she can go down that route shows how out of control PC has become.
Down what route? No one has forced Cadbury's to do anything. And if they do, it's unlikely it will be over the ridiculous claim that it's a racist ad and rather that they're using her to advertise without permission. If a court were to rule in favor of Campbell in the first place.

That she can claim the advertisment was racist on the most flimsy of grounds as an attempt to get what she wants. She probably would have kicked up a firestorm if they didn't pull it - one doesn't have to get a court order to make oneself heard. People far too easily resort to 'racist' label and the system allows them to do so.

You still haven't shown how Cadbury's pulling the ad is an instance of PC rather than PR.

and is naomi campbell extremely famous as a diva in the UK?
the ad seems more than a little "off" to me but comparing a beautiful woman whose beauty is her fame to a delicous candybar isnt automatically offensive.

But that is where you're wrong. For example when politicians in the UK banned the word 'Christmas', turned all the churches into mosques and replaced UK law with Sharia law so that we wouldn't offend the Muslamicists, or when they banned slavery so that it wouldn't hurt black people's feelings, it was Political Correctness Gone Mad.

Besides: Most posters in this thread are Americans, and others who are non-Americans have no problems co-existing so shut that trap...
