I'm more the pub type. I like to be able to hear my friends and acquaintances as they become more and more drunk and my chances of getting some decent action are much greater than in a club when my main concern is keeping the creepy drunk guys from dance raping me.

I prefer somewhere noisy that will ensure dancing/grinding with/against a couple good looking gals, hopefully at the same time. I try not to get plastered at such times, but I definitely have a drink or two to loosen up.

More often when going out I opt for quiet 'pub' kind of setting (wood tables and cheap drinks are a plus) where I can just relax with friends, shoot some pools and play darts, but I don't consider that 'clubbing'.

Not too big of a fan of clubbing. I usually go with friends to a bar to watch sports and get moderately hammered instead of going out clubbing. Not too hammered though, as I've resolved not to do that any more after getting off at the wrong train station in a drunken stupor and finding myself in one of the worst neighborhoods of Chicago. It was not a fun experience.

It isn't so much clubbing as we go to dubstep and dj shows all the time. Skrillex, Chase and Status, Nero, DJ Shadow, Chromeo...all in that broad range. Tons of spots in the city that do the shows...The Fillmore is always classic, as is Temple. Activities of the evening range from drinking to spliffs to molly, depending on our various moods.
