I disagree on that one. I think if you waited to have sex until you were married because you felt pressured to wait, that pressure might lead you to be resentful later and more likely to cheat as a result, but I suspect the same would be true of someone who was pressured NOT to wait. I think the happiest relationships are likely to be those between people who chose of their own free will what path they wanted to take. I have friends at nearly every point along that spectrum, from people who happily engage in orgies with strangers to people who did not have their first kiss until their wedding day, and what has universally seemed to be the common factor in whether their relationships are happy and stable ones is not whether they made any one particular choice but whether they made that choice freely and gladly.
