Um... You cannot give muslims power... it just never worked out and never will look at the middle east. The only reason muslims are not killing us here in the U.S is because they are still the minority. Do you think they would allow Christians,Atheist, and whatever wasn't their religion if they were the majority here?

I'm pretty sure there are different religions in Majority Muslims countrys like Iraq and Iran.

That statement exudes stupidity. There are Muslims at all levels of government including the Senate and House of Representatives. And yet we are not ruled through Sharia law. In addition to that, outlawing other forms of religion would be impossible as it is unconstitutional. Try again.

Honestly they would just ignore the Constitution like Obama did on libya.

Like I said this would only happen if they were the majority. Of course the few muslims in the senate and house wouldn't vote on Sharia law because that would get them not reelected use your head

:palm: :palm: :palm: :palm:

You cannot just ignore one of the most sacred rights in the Constitution. I know that opinions on the document differ, but Freedom of Religion has always meant the same thing. It's just not possible. And FWI Obama has not violated the Constitution in any way, shape, or form in regards to the ongoing operations in Libya. Only the War Powers Act, which is unconstitutional and has been ignored by every president since it was written.

It is you who is not using your head, if you even know how to work it in the first place. Even if Muslims were the majority, other religions could not legally be outlawed, nor could Sharia be widely implemented due to several rafts of Anti-Sharia legislation that has been passed by various state legislatures. Ergo, it would be too impractical.

At this point I'm conflicted between Gary Johnson and Ron Paul. Mainly because Gary Johnson wouldn't fully legalize drugs and Dr. Ronnie would. Of course, Gary Johnson doesn't have the (even I admit) "out there" approach to the Federal Reserve so...I guess it'd end up even-money who I'd vote for.
But none of the other candidates look very appealing. Cain I guess just for the sheer entertainment value, though he's far too civilly conservative.

Edit: In poll actually flipped quarter and voted for Gary Johnson.

I thought the same thing.

Though last interview I watched GJ said he would legalize all drugs and abolish the FedReserve.

And given that I've seen news footage of people using that very kind of rhetoric in public, I find it easy to believe that people would feel that way earnestly and express such opinions online.

Even if they *were* hardcore religious, they still made it so that the nation was secular. But people where I live pretty much just deny the whole Establishment clause.

Oh, yes it is! Absolute monarchy, established religion, nationalism and regional autonomy at the same time, obsession with old legal charters, and extreme cultural and social conservatism are all perfectly legitimate beliefs for the modern Republican.

I don't know; the Carlists were surely a little too, well.... liberal.

I think a Radical Absolutist programme is the only way forward. After all, despite their many sterling qualities, the Carlists refused to countenance the restoration of the Inquisition - as advocated by the Radical Absolutists. Surely restoration of the Inquisition is the only way to keep radical atheist Kenyan Muslim Liberals off the Spanish throne out of the White House.
