I've seen a number of pieces that suggest 'Conservatives' tend to be happier than 'Liberals', but that seems to circulate more around whether or not you accept inequality, than about personal sex lives.

Technically, the Catholic Church doesn't have anything against sex per se, provided it's within marriage and is open to reproduction, in which case the Church considers it to be quite sacred actually.

The Catholic perspective isn't that sex is bad, it's that sex is sacred, and isn't just something you do because you feel like it. I know that sounds unusual to those who don't hold that perspective, and that's perfectly understandable, but it makes sense to people like myself. Doesn't mean I try to prevent others from having sex outside of marriage, I can't do that, that's not my business. I don't think people that have premarital sex are evil or are sinners any more than I'm evil or am a sinner.

Basically, my opinion is that as long as all concerned parties are in agreement, nothing is wrong. Before you start with "assisted suicide" let me just say that the suicidal party isn't in the right mind to be making that choice if they truly are suicidal, but that's a different discussion.
