They would try to raise the kid colorblind, but what ended up happening was that you had kids unable to deal with the reality that racism exist in our society, it ended up doing more harm than good for the kid. Whether or not you tell the child its gender, it will hormonally feel the same way. You don't "decide" if your a boy or a girl, you have a certain biological system which makes you a boy or girl. People who have transgender surgeries and the such do so because they don't feel comfortable in their body, which is something you know at heart, you don't just "decide" it.

That's not necessarily true. The physical sex works that way but gender is actually learned. Remember that for most of human history the men also wore dresses. Today the majoritarians consider it bad for a man to wear one. But for over a hundred thousand years that is what men wore in some locations.

I understand the concept of it, the problem is it will know. You have a tendency to know your own body, you don't choose it. And, at some point, whether the parents like it, the kid will learn the difference between a boy and girl.

But that doesn't mean that they will act like a boy or girl. If the child doesn't feel like a girl but is biologically a girl, then he will act like a boy.

Gender roles aren't genetic. They're learned. You got your idea of manhood not from your genes but from your parents and the people who were around you as you grew up.

Gender is cultural, not biological in a lot of cases. The times when it isn't it's usually just the brain that is the opposite gender.
