For too long it's just been the republicans and democrats in office it's time for a real democracy it's time that the third parties rise up and fight for real change the change that has been neglected by the dems and the GOP. It's time for the third party revolution.

Ross Perot almost pulled off the creation of a third party, built around the cult of his personality, but he wimped out and when he tried to come back he looked unreliable.

Third parties are losers. They may be losers with integrity, but they don't win. The effective thing to do is to pick the party that is closest to your ideology and build a movement within that party. For example, the Democratic Party wasn't always a heavy civil rights party, but persons came into the Democratic Party and moved it toward their agenda.

A third party would contribute to the health of the nation. Normally, two parties work together to screw the nation. With three parties, the lines of communication would have to be stretched over another faction, thus still having three parties screw the nation, but at a slightly reduced rate.
