Probably not, but abadoning them without finding someone in the reason who's remotely reasonable isn't going to be likely, and almost everyone in that area is a fucking radge so the States might as well keep on truckin.

It's bizarre, isn't it? I'm well to the left and yet I support Israel more than most. I think the way they treated Palestinians up until the 90's was horrendous, and I certainly don't support everything done in Israel's name, yet I do fully back the state in its right to exist, and we cannot forget the good Israel has done in its short time as a nation as well.

Right now, with Netenyahu in charge of Israel, no way. They're against Palestine, against a peace process with any Arab states, they keep distracting us from that by yelling at Iran, they don't support the Arab revolts, they keep provoking Hamas and Hezbollah, they won't surrender their nukes, and as for international politics we disagree on so much it's laughable.

If the Israeli opposition came to power, I'd be more open to supporting Israel.
