Hypocrisy, mainly.

Family values demagogues getting busted for kinky affairs or homosexual encounters.

Supporters of small business who give away tax breaks to corporations like candy to spoiled children.

Champions of personal liberty who are inveterately addicted to telling people how to live and what to do with their bodies and minds.

Fans of capitalism and free markets until the company in question gets too big to fail.

Opposition for welfare unless it's for corporations.

And so on.

Bush didn't do anything to atribute to that in his 8 years of presidency then?

not to mention that paul ryans budget plan as endorsed by the party would add another $6trillion to the debt (while gutting social sevices and increasing tax cuts to the rich)

Halt!

Just because these people are stupid, wrong and highly dangerous does not mean you have the right to make them feel sad.

You do realize that it's the Democrats in charge of both the White House and the Senate. and until recently they ran the House. Republicans have in charge on the House side for only a couple of months.

In or out of office, they are still trying to wreck the country. Also, I forgot to mention a couple of other things: they are a bunch of sociopathic greed-heads and while they may be politically brilliant in a psychopathic fashion, they are utter IDIOTS when it comes to actually running things, exhibit A: the late* George W. Bush.

Treating other people like they're sub-human is a religion now?

Bigotry cloaked in misguided self-serving 'belief' is still bigotry.

And that is bad... why? On some issues, yes, I can see why being a 'bigot' is immoral, but not on all.

I don't hate Republicans. I just disagree with them on many key issues: taxes; the environment; gay rights; immigration; deficit control (here I disagree with parts of how they want to do it); the military; education; government size; gun rights; and energy (that's most of them).

Also, being a minority, I don't appreciate the anti-minority rhetoric coming out of the Tea Party.

At least you admit to being a bigot. Of course, the problem is you think it is a good thing.

Taxes: Flat tax
Environment: Reasonable protection, but not excessive legislation.
Gay Rights: None whatsoever
Immigration: Legal or out. Amnesty only on special cases. Legal citizenship can be earned by serving a term in an active US military unit.
Deficit control: Havent thought on it.
Military: Large, superpower-worthy, highly trained and lavishly equipped.
Education: Reading, writing, and arithmetic should be the only required subjects.
Government size: If at first Federal doesnt succeed, leave it to the states. And respect their choices.
Gun rights: Everyone 13+ should be required to take weapons training classes, teaching safety and proper usage. Everyone should be able to own a gun (or many) if they wish.
Energy: Nuclear.

That about sums up my positions :P
