And yes, I agree that it should be compulsory for a healthy married couple to produce children. Perpetuation of family is the very purpose of marriage, is it not? And what good is marriage if it doesn't produce new labour for the state that provides it legal protection?

No in our culture People THINK that a guy kissing or fondling another guy is unacceptable. but what gives us the right to say what they can and cant do? Are you saying that it would be ok if a bunch of straight people started making out and groping each other in public than that would be acceptable because they are not gay? how does that make sense?

I believe that marriage should be for any group of people who love each other and want to spend the rest of their life's together. you are making it sound as if marriage is a tool for the production of more children.

It would be awesome. You could collect disability, tax free. Make it part of the "No Gay Marriage" constitutional amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting the marriage of Adam and Steve, nor of any other union of gays not taxed."

I have no opposition to LGBT rights. They're still people, like me. We can't stigmatise them just because they prefer a certain gender.

There's lots of things that have no logical reason.

Marriage is to symbolize that these people love each other, and are entering a personal union.
