That seems like either a lazy sort of god, who fires his Rapture-ray north-to-south along the Earth and waits for everybody to pass through it, or a very meticulous god sitting at a NORAD-like command centre, pressing Rapture buttons every time a new timezone hit 6.

Either way, it seems less logical than a god simply going "RAPTURE NOW" and taking everbody at once.
