Ron Paul is a poseur. The only reason why he is even vaguely popular is because he occasionally says things that grab the attention of the libertarian crowd. But if you actually stop and examine his behavior in Congress - for example his constantly wittering on about the gold standard when he could actually be asking probing questions of Chairsatan - you'll see that he's just the same as any other ordinary professional politician in his behavior: a blowhard on the stump, but a team player with the rest of the party when it comes to it.

Really the media should do more to expose his posturing. If they did it would quickly be the end of the Ron Paul Revolution, but I suppose if they did that it would set a precedent and the whole applecart would be tipped over.

Religion is nothing but superstition. But there is nothing in the 14th Amendment about abortion. (assuming you were referring to the part about applying the Bill of Rights to the states).

You're right, he's not a Theocrat... Theocrats believe the government to be headed by God... Paul is a Dominionist, he had hired many Christian Reconstructionists to work on his staff. Dominionism (Christian Reconstructionism) believe it is the duty of the civil government to enforce God's laws... though unlike a Theocracy they do not believe God directly rules over the nation, rather it is the nations duty to rule towards God.... Which means little, as the practical effect is the same and just as abhorrent to our principals of Liberty... That's one of two reasons I can't stand RP, the other being he's a racist bastard.

I'm Greek Orthodox and I was hired last go around. I worked with a number of Baptists, a few Catholics, and alot of atheists. Paul's faith was never an issue. Next you'll be shouting that Bush knocked down the towers.

The 14th does apply the bill of rights to the states... Why you necessarily have to raise the issue of abortion as if it means something in the context of what I am saying, I have no fucking clue, my issue with Paul goes WAY past his stance on Abortion... pretty much his stance on almost everything. Im going to be honest my experience with Fox News is basically them saying "'MERCAH! FUCK YEA Love it or leave it!"

There is no "Fair and balanced" news station but their (Fox's) quasi nationalist and social conservative approach is annoying. I watch two shows on Fox, Stossel (Fox Business (which surprisingly is quite tolerable)) and Judge Napolitano's show.

The debate already happened and the question was asked. Only Ron Paul and Gary Johnson said they want to decriminalize it (both also wanting to legalize all other drugs as well). The crowd actually responded quite well to it.

I wish that a real leader would come out of this debate but none of so called candidates are worthy of being called President. The best so far is Trump who is a proven leader and a great business man. I wish he was in this debate but I guess he will be in the next one.
