He declared war on the entirety of America. While not a crime, under just war theory, it was a legitimate reason to retaliate, and thus incapacitate him. Whether the intervening years were carried out under Just War principles is another matter entirely, and I've no idea if this counts as a 'real' crime, but I reckon it does.

This is the second person I've seen doubting al-Qaeda and bin Laden's involvement in 9/11. Terra Agora carried on in similar fashion for several pages in the Osama's Dead Megathread. Who knew we had Truthers here? There have been Birthers but I can't recall having seen their elder siblings. Is it just a general mistrust of anything "the Government" says? Or is it specific to this incident, that they can't deal with Osama being taken down on Barack Obama's watch? I don't get it.

I didn't say it would be easy. You'd have to clearly illustrate that there are clear divisions of the organization within the United States under his orders, who commited acts with his consent. Most notably, of course, would be 9/11. If you could prove that it was an Al Queda operation, and get him into the US I think it could be done. But again, it's easier said than done.
