I have a High Democratic Order, which I think I created though it may already have been invented. What it is, is basically a capitalistic government with a Politburo kind of council. However, all the members are elected, and the High Administrator is the tie-breaker if there is tie in a vote. Each member of the council represents a province, and vote on decisions. They act as a single body, a group leading the nation. I must say I like this form of government, but I'm biased.

EDIT: And yes, as little government as possible. Damn Kool-Aid drinkers!

A democratic republic, being small yet efficient. One that doesn't spend trillions of dollars for social projects and doesn't stick its nose in individuals' matters. One that is not activist and only operates to protect and safeguard its citizens with a military. One that lets capitalism run its course and lets individuals prosper and flourish.

If the companies are run by the workers wouldn't the workers keep giving themselves more and more pay, eventually making the business uncompetitive?

There are already businesses run like that. The first one that comes to mind is WinCo Foods

The last construction company I worked for was EOC. I, surprisingly, got a check from their employee stock ownership program, which I thought I wasn't a part of.

On the other hand, some of the people there were just plain awful.

You could start by stating which one is yours.

I prefer a non-voted government, something similar like the jury system in some courtrooms. Hookers will sit next to professors and manage the country.

Why? People know shit about politics. People vote for politicians that appear the most on TV. You can’t evaluate politicians, except when they are your boss or something.

There are enormous holes in it, I admit. Still, worker's self management is democratic, so that prevents any single person from giving themselves a raise.

Communism could be a successful government system, you just need a dictator that would not be corrupted by the power. But I believe the best for of government is NO Government! Anarchy!!

I've also been thinking about Tribalism after seeing it posted here, and the "Enlightened/Unenlightened" forms of modern tribalism. I've come to the conclusion that an Enlightened tribal society would temporarily be a great society, but eventually, having sealed your people off from the world, stories of civilization will probably become legends, and then you have the rise of archaic religions and such.

the "best" anything, has never been invented and never will be,
because optimization is a process that has no end point.
there is no other such thing as perfection then an eternal process of optimization.

Marxism was a partially, and only partially, failed attempt,
to correct many of capitalism's errors.
errors which are still every bet as much with us.

western european socialism came closer, and dispite american attempts to sabotage it, still does.
as did what we had here (in america) when retailing was mom and pop and infrastructure was unionized,
with the result of almost everybody having been in the REAL 'middle' class that existed then,
and which decades of corporacratic fanaticism has nearly entirely wiped out.
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.

"economic freedom" is "the cake"
=^^=
