I have a High Democratic Order, which I think I created though it may already have been invented. What it is, is basically a capitalistic government with a Politburo kind of council. However, all the members are elected, and the High Administrator is the tie-breaker if there is tie in a vote. Each member of the council represents a province, and vote on decisions. They act as a single body, a group leading the nation. I must say I like this form of government, but I'm biased.

I've been thinking, and I think that the best economic system I can think of would incorporate the best of both worlds from Socialism and Capitalism, similar to Syndicalism. In this, you would have a market-based economy and a reasonable level of competitive pay, but in place of privately owned corporations and such, you've got more Co-Ops, syndicates, and companies run by Worker's self-management. In that, you would still have some healthy competition between business and more motivation to work harder, without the almost inhumane level of social and economic inequality that you find in modern and industrial capitalism. Unfortunately, I think this would be another of those easily exploited systems.

If the companies are run by the workers wouldn't the workers keep giving themselves more and more pay, eventually making the business uncompetitive?

There are already businesses run like that. The first one that comes to mind is WinCo Foods

The last construction company I worked for was EOC. I, surprisingly, got a check from their employee stock ownership program, which I thought I wasn't a part of.

You could start by stating which one is yours.

I prefer a non-voted government, something similar like the jury system in some courtrooms. Hookers will sit next to professors and manage the country.

There are enormous holes in it, I admit. Still, worker's self management is democratic, so that prevents any single person from giving themselves a raise.

I've also been thinking about Tribalism after seeing it posted here, and the "Enlightened/Unenlightened" forms of modern tribalism. I've come to the conclusion that an Enlightened tribal society would temporarily be a great society, but eventually, having sealed your people off from the world, stories of civilization will probably become legends, and then you have the rise of archaic religions and such.
