A Galloarchy.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.
The Parkus Empire: Being serious on NSG is like wearing a suit to a nude beach.
New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

In theory, a Benevolent Dictatorship... Course, even when they do occur (rarely)... They don't last into the next generational ruler...

In practice, a representative democracy... Which pretty much sums up every one of the present-day successful countries...
Such heroic nonsense!

Many forms of Government have been tried and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time. - Winston Churchill

You can't say that. By the time Hitler began his grand plan he had already suspended the vote. :p

In a dictatorship.... The Government is only as good as its ruler.... Which scares me...

In an oligarchy... The government is only as good as its elite governors.... Which scares me...

In a democracy... The government is only as good as its voters... Which scares me...

I'm quite a fan of UK Parliamentary democracy. It works well, and unlike 'utopian' societies doesn't require massive repression and changes to human behaviour.

<<< My WA category.

Better both in theory and in practice than democracy. A non-benevolent dictatorship could also be good, but tends to vary wildly depending on the leader; and people are irrationally prejudiced against feudalism for some strange reason, despite the success it's had in the past.
Signatures are for losers.

Uhu... in July 1932, the Germans still voted overall to end democracy, though. The Nazis won 37.8% of the vote and the KPD 14.6%. That was before Hitler got any serious power.
End the Modigarchy now.
