Unfortunately his great valor didn't protect his ill-gotten, undeserved privilege from the might of popular rage.

My lineage isn't that impressive. My father was related to Persian royalty (back from the 1930s), and my mother is related (a cousin) to the 10th Duke of Ciudad Rodrigo and Wellington. It's all pretty distant and unimportant, but it left a nice ancestry.
You're Persian?

It's cute that you can sit in your nice pleasant state that guarantees human rights and pretend being murdered by counter-revolutionaries or by right-wing death squads is somehow any less horrible than being killed by communist revolutionaries, or secret police, and that it would be preferable to the life an average person had in a (faux)communist state. Given the shitty situations that existed in every country that claimed to be communist before their revolution, and that even many of the worst Leninist shitholes still saw some improvement in standard of living over their pre-communist era, for the average person, it's not that bad being red, and probably better than being dead.
Don't mistake this for a defence of Cuba or China or Soviet Russia, just do a before and after and accept there's been far worse systems then Leninist dictatorships.
Best Korea is the exception that proves the rule.

Noblesse Oblige is still present.
All our supreme court justices went to Harvard or Yale.
Presidents The last President not to attend Harvard or Yale was Ronald Reagan and he likely did not go to Harvard because he was too old by the time it opened.
We have replaced blood with a Harvard or Yale, except getting into those schools normally just means your parents had the money to pay for a private tutor and a private school education.

The West usually supports the Judaic state, though, because Israel's nuclear policy mainly relies on the 'Samson Option' - if Israel is on the verge of defeat and implied destruction at the hands of the Ayarabs, they can and will launch their nukes firstly towards all major Arabic population centers and secondly Europe itself.
Europe would rather appease the Zionists than face nuclear winter, as would most people.

Israel is really only concerned about Iran. They will never nuke Europe, and its a long shot they'll ever hit their neighbors. Iran is the only realistic target.
