I survived another trip around the sun, I'm another year closer to death, and I'm another year beyond my physical prime. My question for you guys: How old are you? Do birthdays still matter to you? If so, why? What do you do for your birthday?

Eh, my family and I go to the Olive Garden on my birthday, and I still get presents, just not as much when I was a kid. Does your family send you presents?

Embrace who you are, what you are, and what you can be. Throw off the shackles of shame, refuse self-loathing, refuse misandry, refuse misogyny, refuse misanthropy, instead, love what you are. 15. Will be 16. Yes. I receive presents, invite one friend over either on the day or a week later, invite nearby family members over, go on NS.

16, why? It gives me some more power and independence.
18, why? Because I finally become an adult.

A good time for a gift or a night out is when you have the money and when the event presents itself. "Think of it as an early birthday present"? Fuck you.
