Because suspending Habeas Corpus and committing war crimes is certainly much more Constitutional than anything Obama has done, damn socialist.

Truely, though, if he were a socialist, I would be glad. Thus far he seems intent on playing the middle-field centrist.

I do feel short-changed, after campaigning for the guy.

I hear you. And it's especially annoying as despite what the right wingers on this thread say, he was elected to be a left wing President, that's why so many Americans got so excited about his victory, not just because he's the first African American but because he looked like he could bring real change to, well, the lots and lots of poor people who get nothing out of America or the constitution...

I think making a mistake in assuming being reasonable will provoke a reasonable reaction from the right, because at the end of the day all they are really in politics for is the protection of their rarified constituents monetary interests...

Oh well. Shouldn't be too hard on him, he's still the best President since Kennedy and he's an other seven years to do the job properly...

The Constitution is alive?????? I thought it was document?

Hmmm I guess since it wasn't born here; it can't have insurance?

we should not completely rely on the constitution simply because it was written at a completely different time. People have to understand that issues and politics were totally different back then. I'll admit that it is a good document and we can rely on most of it, but there are definitely some flaws. :palm:

Thats why we make amendments.

By the way, I do not think that the Founding Fathers would have liked Obama. First, he is black (not being racist) and second he is considered a American liberal which goes against their views of true Liberalism.

Its true, the Founding Fathers NEVER would have believed that a African-American would get the presidency. They all owned slaves (except some Federalists) but they did not consider them sub-human.

And you've had tea and biscuits with them, have you? Since you cannot possibly know what they would think, you are being racist, but more unfair to Fathers than to Obama.

For the record, owning slaves=/=dislike of blacks.

Wow, taking money from hard working people and giving it to lazy assholes who don't do a thing but complain about stuff others have. What a great concept. I think I'll vote for a government that promises to take from you and give to me. Yeah!

Exactly! Because we all know, if you're in poverty it's because you're a lazy asshole and nothing else.

Well, people certainly aren't poor because 'the rich' are oppressing them or something.

Yeah, or giving it to lazy assholes who use a public road instead of marching buck naked into the wilderness, chop down forests with his dick and lay concrete from his ass after eating an aluminum foil and stone salad and seventeen live cattle.

A real man isn't about being a weakly girly man who relies on other people, or the government, for anything - ever!

Honestly? Obama was elected BECAUSE he was black. Why? Statistically the racial minorites (african americans, asians, EXPECIALLY Latinos) are now the majority population. They minorties would rather seen some random black guy in office, than suffer through another corrupt rich white man.

I should probably mention now that personally I believe that race is a made up social construct, and the only race that actually exists is the human race. Too bad the rest of society hasn't caught up yet eh?
