God. Do you believe in him? Or is he not real? Please share your opinions/beliefs.

(the Christian God is the one I am talking about)

As an all-knowing God I foresee that this thread, despite no OP content, will go on for some 50 pages.

Non-existent entity created to quell people's fears of the unknown and to give the masses someone to blame when things go wrong.

I'm sorry, I am new to this. I see no solid evidence in the existence of God. People in the Bible times claim they have "talked" to God. But how come that hasn't happened ever in this modern time? I don't think he is real. I also believe that the Bible was written over a long period of time by thousands of people. It was a answer guide to questions in which the people had no answers to. But with science these days, I just cannot see God being real.

I believe in God, and Lucifer, and Christ. Some things in this world are just to perfect to be an accident, you know? I think it had to come from somewhere...

No...I dont. There is no omni potent being controling my fate or anyone elses, and the notion of such a thing is silly to me. God is a system created to give a set of morals and hope to the masses in the oldendays, I dont think it has a place in todays society.

Now.........attack away

Not necessarily the world is perfect, just it's process. Just look at the human body. Look at all the things it owns. Eyes to see, legs to walk, digestive systems, the ability to pro-create. It's like someone thought of everything and put it into one thing.

It's six billion years of rolling the dice. If I take a thousand d20s, and roll each one over and over again, I will end up with D20s that get four or five or six 20s in a row. Doesn't mean Fortuna favors me, it's just the effect of a lot of time and what we recognize as chance.

The world is not perfect. See the "world," "perfect," both in the same sentence.

Well, several years ago, Jesus came down from Heaven for that whole "Rapture" thing. However, he decided to start with my house. Long story short, he's now chained up in my basement where I can *ahem* have "fun" with him. What I'm trying to get at is that I've talked with him, and he assures me that there is no God, and that everyone who believes in him is just deluded. Though, that confession may have just been so I'd stop whipping him...Hmm...I'll have to think on this a bit longer.
