Most Eaten Fruit

Postby Serrland » Wed Apr 20, 2011 8:19 am

Well, NSG, there have been threads about what kind of fruit you like the most, and what kind of fruit you think is the strangest, but this one is, regrettably, a bit more mundane. Which fruits do you eat the most often? Why?

As for myself, I try my hardest to eat quite a bit of fruit in an effort to negate some less-than-healthy parts of my diet. My most eaten fruit is either grapefruit or bananas - I have a grapefruit for breakfast each morning (with salt, of course!), but usually end up eating two or three bananas throughout the course of a day, too. Luckily for me, both are dirt cheap and tasty.

Tomatoes. Most definitely. I'm only half Italian, and I can't even count how much Tomato sauce I go through in a month.

I probably eat apples more than any other whole fruit. In terms of vegetables, I eat a lot of potatoes and carrots.

It depends on the season. Right now we're eating a lot of apples. In the summer we'll eat a lot of peaches.

I eat tomatoes daily though, so tomatoes.

I prefer the gala and red delicious.

I most often eat red delicious apples for fruit. I had one for breakfast in fact.

Uck. Galas are much better.

Mostly, like most people, tomatos. Followed by bananas.
OMG, I had bell peppers on my grocery list yesterday. I took one look at the price and thought I was hallucinating. Nearly five bucks for a single pepper? That's just insane. My salad will just have to go without.

Probably either bananas or tomatoes. Apples and zucchini are probably next in line.

Bananas.

I eat strawberry jelly a lot and drink a lot of orange juice, but bananas are the fruit I'll eat the most often.

Depends on what is in season and isn't from half way around the world. Though I have a fondness for pomegranate juice so I probably have more of them than anything else (even though it is breaking my own rules about being in season and local).
