What why. Does this make sense? Who loves to flip burgers? Fat people who eat them afterwards. I mean, seriously, who would want to date someone who lives in a soup kitchen? I'm sorry, but this is just... :?

"Nice" guys are very often actually creepyfying and horrific obsequious little fucks. Let us examine the thought process that goes on with them: In exchange for an expectation of future sexy-boots time, they act like sycophantic halfwits: Then when this obvious ruse fails they spend hours(days/weeks/months!) complaining as if they were done out of something that was owed to them, which it never was. And very often the 'target' or their affections is naturally too polite to handle the harassment.

That's actually not very nice at all. In fact it's sort of pathetic/stalkerish/conniving.
The kind of middle-class mentality which actuates both those responsible for strategy and government has little knowledge of the new psychology and organizing ability of the totalitarian States. The forces we are fighting are governed neither by the old strategy nor follow the old tactics.

Perhaps you need to work on your references. Since it seems nobody but you has seen this movie, you should have used a more cohesive example. That's like me using this to explain why men who are more likely to cheat are more or less attractive to women.

Nerds are never scared. They run into problems with a smile on their face, and whisper, "Nerd-Rage... Activate." and then slowly place a pair of sunglasses on their head, slowly.

Couldn't a nice guy also be a shy male who had something happen in his life that made him resent women? Like oh say, a woman being a total and utter bitch to him and making him distrust women? Also, isn't saying a nice guy is creepy like saying a guy reading a newspaper on the park bench with a porn-stache is a pedo? You don't ACTUALLY know that. Y'all need to learn to stop judging books by their covers.

I looked for an appropriate clip, but then I remembered it probably definitely wouldn't fall within the PG-13 guidelines, as the film (Happiness) is rated NC-17.

Except pretending to be a girl/guy's friend, then trying to get into her/his pants is objectively creepy/stalkerish/conniving. Emotional manipulation doesn't get chicks.

*googles*

After alerting his wife to the police presence, Bill begins by asking the two detectives, "So, you wanted to talk about Ronald Farber?" The two detectives, looking puzzled, say nothing. Bill then stammers, "I mean, Johnny Grasso." Out on bail, he tearfully admits to Billy that he "fucked" the boys, that he enjoyed it, and that he would do it again. When Billy asks, "Would you ever fuck me?", his father replies, "No. I'd jerk off instead."

lmao

I'm not really sure what everyone's definition of a "nice" guy is, but I consider myself a nice guy and I'm not emotionally manipulative. If I like a girl, I try to be, well, nice! I don't see what's so weird about that.

He volunteers in the soup kitchen, he doesn't live there.
Let me rephrase it as a question. Would you choose:
Person A: bungee jumping instructor with a Ph.D. in Bungee Jumping from Bungee Jumping U. because it is the family business even though he wanted to be a doctor.
Person B: bungee jumping instructor with a Ph.D. in Law from Hrvard and a Ph.D. in Engineering from MIT and turned down a job from NASA to teach bungee jumping.
Person A is the nice guy who did what his family wanted. Person B is the badass guy who goes for what he wants.

Why would he need psychiatric care? Please explain this in detail. Frankly, if your personality is already that of a shy male, you'll find out very soon that a lot of women are bitches and probably resent them. It's not a disorder or problem; it's just the way people are.
