Bill Clinton is clearly Batman,

I've long-suspected it but seriously, he walks into North Korea and frees two female journalists from a short, clinically insane joker of a dictator,

Bill Clinton = Batman.

You'd think, given Obama essentially sent him and, fair enough, NK expressly asked for him - Obama wanted to send l Gore, far more expendable in case something went wrong - but anyways...

Is this not a slight slap in the face for Hillary, is it not technically her role to do this, much as the last visit from America was by Madeleine Albright, who was, I believe, Secretary of State?

This is what a former President Should do. As former president he can apologize and kiss ass without making the US seem week, or making policy promises.
A pity we can not do this with Bush.

This is not something to send Hillary on. You send someone in the government then NK would want policy changes.
We send a former president, and we get those women freed for some ass kissing and a photo op.

What we did here was merely strength Kim Jung Ill. We gave him recognition. We should have sent in Delta Force, pull them of there and left a mocking note behind.

Bill Clinton is turning into a goddamn Superman. I bet Euna and Laura "thanked" him, if you catch my drift.

So instead of image spam that has nothing to do with the topic at hand, perhaps you could actually contribute something? And no, tossing in random pictures of someone who happens to be in the article with no actual written response doesn't count as contributing.

The USA will go and defend even 1 person, yet 2. And the right to speak and to report what they see. It doesn't matter who went to resolve it. What matters is The United States of America continues to uphold a unity to "defend" it's citizens.

I just checked my deep-space radio receiver, and it appears that a huge Black Hole is oddly headed only to North Korea. Swoop, swish, crackle, gone.

Good riddance !!!

I was going to make a sarcastic comment about it being a shame they didn't send special forces in to go in and kill a bunch of koreans but someone's already said that in earnest.
