Well, they weren't. But one of their kings was (Leopold II). He used to own what is now know as the Democratic Republic of the Congo. But he was a bit of jackass (understatement) so at a certain moment the Belgian government forced him to cede authority to the Belgian government.

My friend Fashiontopia is black. He hasn't been on in a while. He said he had stuff with his girlfriend and he told us he's a quarternback for his high school.
